Delete my account

You can delete the account created on the consulate's website or app at any time, from the app or from this website, without installing anything.

From the website, without the app

  1. 1Sign in to your personal space on this website.
  2. 2Open “Profile”.
  3. 3In the “Delete my account” box, click “Delete my account”.
  4. 4Type SUPPRIMER and confirm: you are signed out straight away.
Open my profile

From the app

  1. 1Open the app and sign in.
  2. 2“Profile” tab, then the “Settings” icon at the top right.
  3. 3“Account” section: tap “Delete my account”.
  4. 4Type SUPPRIMER to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and final: a deleted account cannot be restored.

What is erased

  • Your first and last name, replaced by “Compte supprimé”.
  • Your email address, replaced by a technical address: nobody can sign in to the account any more.
  • Phone, date and place of birth, nationality, gender and postal address.
  • Consular card and passport numbers.
  • Your profile photo (the file is erased).
  • Your draft applications that were never sent, with the attachments uploaded.
  • The draft of a return-home project, with the attached CV.
  • All your sessions, on the website and in the app: the account is deactivated.

What is kept

What you have already sent to the consulate is not erased when you delete your account:

  • Applications already submitted (passport, consular card, legalisation, visa…), with their documents, history, messages exchanged and appointments.
  • Payments and their receipts, including a draft already linked to a payment.
  • Requests, return-home projects, support cases, complaints, repatriation requests and call-back requests already sent, with the contact details given in those forms.
  • The technical sign-in log (date, IP address, browser), kept for the security of the service.

These files are administrative records: the post must archive them, and payments fall under accounting obligations. They are no longer linked to an active account and remain accessible only to consulate staff.

A question before deleting?
