iDiaspora: consular registration, power of attorney and parental authorisation online
On idiaspora.service-public.bj, Beninese nationals abroad can register free of charge and obtain several consular documents online, delivered by e-mail within 72 hours.

The iDiaspora portal (idiaspora.service-public.bj) brings together the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' online services for Beninese nationals abroad. It opened in April 2024.
1. Free consular registration
Any Beninese national who has lived abroad for more than three months can register free of charge in the Register of Beninese Abroad. Registration provides a consular identifier, required in particular for online passport renewal (ePASS).
