Renunciation of Beninese nationality

Renunciation file addressed to the Minister of Justice, usually ahead of a foreign naturalisation.

The application to renounce Beninese nationality is addressed to the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice. It is most often filed ahead of a naturalisation in the country of residence.

The consulate also issues a certificate confirming that a renunciation file has been submitted, frequently requested by Belgian authorities.
